Productive-Asset-as-a-Service · Rural & Peri-Urban Nigeria

Owning the equipment, so farmers don’t have to.

AgAssetCo deploys, owns, and operates agro-processing equipment integrated with renewable energy systems across rural and peri-urban Nigeria, delivering processing capacity as a metered, pay-as-you-go service to multiple processors through shared hubs, each anchored by reliable solar energy.

The structural gap

A gap that is not technical. It is structural.

Nigeria’s rural agricultural sector produces at scale. Its urban food markets demand at scale. Between them, at the precise point where harvests need to be processed, preserved, and moved to market, there is an infrastructure gap that has constrained rural incomes, driven post-harvest losses, and prevented decentralized energy systems from achieving commercial viability for over a decade. The gap is not technical. It is structural. And it is now financeable.

01

Finance Productivity, Not People

We reject borrower-led risk. AgAssetCo finances and owns productive assets directly, deploying them as shared infrastructure and monetizing actual usage rather than lending to individual farmers.

02

Aggregate Demand to Achieve Commercial Viability

Fragmented rural processing demand is aggregated via hub-based infrastructure into stable throughput profiles that support commercial operations.

03

Treat Energy as a Contracted Input, Not a Balance Sheet Commitment

AgAssetCo procures energy as a contracted input via long-term Power Purchase Agreements with specialist energy Developers, rather than owning generation itself.

The proof · Ele-Uma, Rivers State

“The hypothesis was confirmed: reliable energy plus owned productive assets equals bankable cash flow.”

AgAssetCo’s first deployment, an oil palm processing hub at Ele-Uma, was structured as a formal infrastructure test, not a grant-based intervention. The results confirmed the model.
